We've just had another great event! AltExpo #4 June 25 - 28, 2009 Our presenters list and schedule is coming together nicely and is accessible at the link above. We'll have a new emphasis on organizing cadre and building community. We've just had another hugely successful and fun BIG event! AltExpo #3 March 5 - 8, 200 Subject to finalization, we'll have presenters on: The Alternatives Expo begins our long-awaited seminar series - all-day events to explore specific topics in depth. We're pleased to announce our first sessions: Saturday Seminar (AltExpo 2.4) The Power of Community (Boston) Kick-Starting Local Currencies 13 December 2008 (Saturday) Boston South End Library Special presentations by Kevin Innes, Training Director for Liberty Dollar, and others. 14 December 2008 (Sunday) Faneuil Hall After the main event, join us for some Tea Party solutions - continue the discussions about starting local-acting currencies in your community over dinner: Place: Quincy Market Collonade Food Court, upstairs in the rotunda. Another new tradition for us: AltExpo#2.2 @ Burning Porcupine 14-25 July 2008 Grafton, New-Hampshire The 12 Days of Freedom We ran the Expo Café with more than the usual amount of snacks, coffees and teas. Our seminars were well-attended and were about the only serious thing at the event! We've started a new tradition of exhibiting at the Taxpayers Reunion! AltExpo#2.1 @ CNHT Independence Day Picnic 5 July 2008, 12 Noon - 5 PM Hopkinton Fair Grounds, New-Hampshire This event was low-key for us with just an opportunity to chat with folks who come for the Bar-B-Que at the Taxpayers' Reunion. We talked to several people who were very interested in our planned programs and we recruited a couple of presenters for future events. We also ran our famous Expo Café. We had the best coffee at PorcFest08 and added a new blend at the Taxpayers Reunion and we distributed more of our souvenir mugs.
