The Alternatives Exposition website is trying a new self-financing model. We have Google ads placed on the pages to bring in some revenue, but you can make the annoying Google ads go away, by subscribing to the site for a small $1/month subscription cost. (This is charged $3/quarter). Our goal is to bring in a minimum of $40 per month to pay for the web-hosting costs and webmaster support services. More than that is better, of course.

Just remember "Freedom isn't Free" and, if you enjoy what we do at the AltExpo, then please contribute financially through the website subscription.

Thanks for your support! As of this point, we only have 5 subscribers.

Agorism - the foundation for New Libertarians

Agorism is the strain of the modern libertarian movement that considers the only path to freedom is the one that sticks to libertarian principles in daily practice. Samuel Edward Konkin III (SEK3) is the man who coined the term into its current usage.

Here's a list of some reading materials to get you up-to-speed on Agorism and Left Libertarianism in general:

Agorist Revolution in a Nutshell

Lists, groups, etc.

LeftLibertarian2 Yahoo group: way interesting, way too many posts for a reasonable man to read every day :( - We recommend this group, as opposed to the Left Libertarian group, which got taken over by J. Neil Schulman, claiming to be the heir to Samuel Edward Konkin III's intellectual property, including the name: Movement of the Libertarian Left, which, since there's an open-enough market, created the incentive to start an alternatively-named Alliance of the Libertarian Left.

Left Libertarian Yahoo group - got taken over and perverted by J. Neil Schulman when he got moderator power - he caused a huge defection to LL2 (above). Neil has turned towards an anti-Arab neo-conservative stance re the Middle East, as well as a mystical approach to spirituality. This list has languished somewhat since many readers/contributors abandoned it and turned to the Left Libertarian 2 list above.

J. Neil Schulman has strayed from the the agorist path of his mentor, Samuel Edward Konkin III, but he has started up a site, that appears to be another one of his self-promotional iefforts:
