The Alternatives Exposition website is trying a new self-financing model. We have Google ads placed on the pages to bring in some revenue, but you can make the annoying Google ads go away, by subscribing to the site for a small $1/month subscription cost. (This is charged $3/quarter). Our goal is to bring in a minimum of $40 per month to pay for the web-hosting costs and webmaster support services. More than that is better, of course.

Just remember "Freedom isn't Free" and, if you enjoy what we do at the AltExpo, then please contribute financially through the website subscription.

Thanks for your support! As of this point, we only have 5 subscribers.

Edit your web page

How to edit your presenters web page:

[First, you have to have created a "user account" on your own and be "logged in"]

As a presenter, you will have had your role on this website set to "presenter" (by us) which will let you view some things pertinent to you that won't appear to the public - these notes, for example.

You will also be able to create a blog (from your "my account" page) that will be viewable by other presenters and coordinators, as well as the site administrators.

You will also be able to participate in forums (right sidebar menu) that are about the organizational details of the AltExpo event and this web site.

We will send you a link to a web page created by our staff for your presentation. After our staff creates a small amount of dummy text, they will change the "authorship" settings over to your username.

Now, after you have logged into the site, you can go to the web page created for you. When you are viewing the page you will see an "edit" tab at the top of the page. This will not be viewable by others (they will not be able to go in and edit like you can.) Click on the edit tab and create your web page in the Body.

Please don't edit the URL path settings as that may cause other links to break.

If you have issues with creating your page, please email Steve@AltExpo.org or call Jack at 233-1058
