The Alternatives Exposition website is trying a new self-financing model. We have Google ads placed on the pages to bring in some revenue, but you can make the annoying Google ads go away, by subscribing to the site for a small $1/month subscription cost. (This is charged $3/quarter). Our goal is to bring in a minimum of $40 per month to pay for the web-hosting costs and webmaster support services. More than that is better, of course.

Just remember "Freedom isn't Free" and, if you enjoy what we do at the AltExpo, then please contribute financially through the website subscription.

Thanks for your support! As of this point, we only have 5 subscribers.

Video Coordinator

We need a new volunteer to be the video coordinator. Write to us at video@AltExpo.org if you'd like to assist in this way.

The video coordinators' role is:

To make sure the viewings work - electrically, visually, audio, etc. You'll have the support of the IT services coordinator, Dan.

To protect and secure the expensive equipment that is being loaned for our use.

To make sure videos are shown on some reasonable schedule - keep 'em rollin'.

To publish a hand out list of videos to be shown with a rough schedule.

Hopefully, we will have a laptop and printer dedicated to printing handouts.

The video coordinator gets some control over what is shown (POWER), but is asked to be fair and show what most people want to see.

The video coordinator gets editorial control over this webpage: http://altexpo.org/videos and can put what he wants on there, as long as it's legal and respects the basic schedule that's already been laid down, ie the first 4 videos get shown, because the guy loaning us the equipment wants to get them shown!
